At the prestigious Australian Furniture of the Year Awards Sleepyhead was awarded the national winner of Excellence in a Sleep Set (Mattress and Base) 2008.
Earlier on in the year at the NSW Australian International Furniture Fair this mattress was awarded finalist and therefore short listed for the nationals.
At the national’s Judges said, Sleepyhead’s Sorrento mattress embraced innovation, creativity and refined the boundaries of traditional mattress design. They were extremely impressed with Sleepyhead's combination of innovative product design, effective product presentation and excellent craftsmanship.
